COVID Update:OLLI with Dr. Debbie Gold

OLLI writes: Please join us on Tuesday, July 27 at 2 PM (PT) for a Q&A with Dr. Debbie Gold, a retired infectious disease specialist, who will answer your questions about the current state of the pandemic as well as how to safely navigate the world and assess risk, post-vaccination. Dr. Gold most recently served as Chief of Service for Infectious Disease at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco and currently briefs medical providers across the country on the latest insights into the pandemic. She has been an invaluable resource for the OLLI community as well. All are welcome to join this online event!

Concerned about the Delta variant? Want to gauge how safe it is to travel? We encourage you to submit your question(s) in advance. If you haven't attended one of Dr. Gold's talks, be prepared for a brisk and substantive one hour as she strives to answer as many questions as possible.

Note that Gray Panthers is not affiliated with this event, just listing it for members as a public service. Registration is open to all. We are rapidly learning that the Delta variant of COVID can spread outdoors and has the potential to infect vaccinated people, so we want to keep Panthers safe and healthy and educated.
