Our Featured speaker at our September speaker meeting was Jan BenDor, a long time activist and state voting rights activist Sociologist; union activist, social worker, videographer. She is treasurer of the National Council of Gray Panther Networks and chair of its housing and nursing home subcommittees. Our co-conveners Betsy Morris and Carol Crooks have had the privilege of working with her as part of their board service.
Plus we'll have updates on Panther and partner activities and opportunities, near and wide, in-person and virtual, as the election season looms before us.

Jan BenDor, longtime Gray Panther activist and statewide coordinator of the Michigan Election Reform Alliance. A women's rights activist based in the Ann Arbor area of Michigan. Known as the "Founding Mother of the Rape Crisis Center movement in Michigan," she was named to the Michigan Women's Hall of Fame in 1991.
